Guru P.V.S Hails From Traditional Musicial Family

Late Shri Subrahmanya Sastry father of Sri P. V. S, was an eminent performer and great musicologist, author of many great musical books in his times. The, then President of India Dr. Sarvepalli Radha Krishnanji invited Sri Subrahmanya Sastry garu to “Rashtrapati Bhavan” and honoured him. Mother Late Suryakantamma too had a melodious voice, with a “sound” musical wisdom. Guru P.V.S, a versatile personality/ teacher/ performer/ academician/ composer/ author/ nationalist/ organizer/ and ideal selfless “humane” being. Sri P.V.S. Seshaiah Sastry, a student in music from 1960.

The beginning:
Sri P.V.S started his initial training in music under Guru Pulavarty Rama Dikshitulu garu.

Advanced training:
Late Sri Susarla Sivaram garu, Sangeeta Kala Nidhi, Nada yogi Late Sri Nedunuri Krishna Murthy garu.
